Chester F. Morrison, Jr.
Chairman of the Board
Chester F. Morrison, Jr. is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Morrison Energy Group, LLC, which is the holding company for a group of diversified oilfield service companies engaged primarily in providing construction, fabrication, pipelay, and diving services to oil and gas production companies and pipeline companies operating in the U.S. Gulf Coast area and the shallow waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Mr. Morrison has over thirty years of experience organizing, managing and building successful companies involved in the oil and gas industry including Rooster Energy L.L.C. and subsidiaries which he founded in late 2005. Mr. Morrison holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University.
Robert P. Murphy
Robert P. Murphy is the former Chief Executive Officer and President of Rooster Energy Ltd. and its subsidiaries. Mr. Murphy has over 25 years of experience in exploration and development operations in the Gulf of Mexico, both shallow and deep water. Mr. Murphy served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Helix Oil & Gas Inc. (NYSE: HLX) from July 2006 to March 2010. In 1998, Mr. Murphy joined Remington Oil & Gas Inc. and became Director, President and Chief Operating Officer. From August 1990 to January 1998, Mr. Murphy served as Vice President – Exploration and Director of Cairn Energy USA Inc. when it was sold to Texas Meridian Resources Inc. in 1997. Mr. Murphy holds a B.S. in Geology from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Science in Geosciences from The University of Texas at Dallas.
J. Munro M. Sutherland
J. Munro M. Sutherland is a financial consultant with over thirty years experience in finance and management as a director of both private and listed oil and gas exploration companies. He is currently a non-executive director of Optimus (Aberdeen) Limited, an independent engineering consultancy and project delivery company serving the energy industry.Mr Sutherland was the Finance Director of Cairn Energy plc, an independent oil and gas company, from 1988, when it was listed on the London Stock Exchange, to 1993. From 1993 to 1997 he served as a Director, SVP and CFO of Cairn Energy (USA) Inc. which was traded on NASDAQ. In 1998 he was a co-founder of Melrose Resources plc, an independent oil and gas company with operations in Bulgaria, Egypt and the USA. Melrose Resources plc was listed on the London Stock Exchange and Mr Sutherland served as the Finance Director until 2008. From 2009 to 2011 he was the CFO of Seven Energy International Limited, an exploration and production and gas distribution company operating in Nigeria. From 2012 to 2014 he was the Finance Director of a private company which operated a shale exploration project in Poland and in 2015 he served as the interim CFO of an oil technology company. Mr Sutherland received a B.A. in Accountancy and Finance with First Class Honours from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh in 1978. He is a Chartered Accountant, a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute and an Honorary Professor in the School of Management and Languages at Heriot-Watt University.
Leroy F. Guidry, Jr.
Leroy F. Guidry, Jr., is the President and Chief Financial Officer of Chet Morrison Contractors, LLC. His thirty-seven year career includes five years with a regional CPA firm located in South Louisiana and thirty-two years as a financial officer in both privately and publicly held oilfied service companies. Mr. Guidry was the Chief Financial Officer for Dynamic Offshore Contractors from 1985 to 1992. He was the Chief Financial Officer for SOLOCO, a subsidiary of Newpark Resources from 1992 to 1993. He served as Chief Financial Officer for Offshore Rigs, LLC from 1993 until it was purchased by Pride International (PDE) in 1994. He was promoted to Treasurer of Pride in 1995 and served in that capacity until September 1998. Since September of 1998, he has served and Chief Financial Officer of Chet Morrison Contractors. Mr. Guidry was named President of Chet Morrison Contractors in January 2015. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Louisiana Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Gary M. Halverson
Gary M. Halverson recently retired as President, Drilling & Production Systems of Cameron International. Prior to that, he served as Sr. Vice President of Cameron International. Mr. Halverson joined Cameron in 1978 and held numerous management positions throughout his career in the U.S. and overseas, including Sr. Vice President of Cameron International; President of Surface Systems; Director of Sales and Marketing for Asia Pacific Middle East based in Singapore; General Manager of Latin America, Vice President and General Manager for the Western Hemisphere based in Houston. Mr. Halverson is currently a Senior Advisor to First Reserve, a global private equity investment firm focused exclusively on energy. He is also a Director of Keane Group, Inc. (NYSE:Frac) and the co-founder of 360 Development Partners a commercial real estate developer. Mr. Halverson is a graduate of Odessa College Associate of Arts (AA).
