Rooster Energy, Ltd. owns a 100.00% WI in Eugene Island Block 28, a federal lease located in 17 feet of water approximately 15 miles offshore of Louisiana. Rooster Petroleum currently serves as operator of the field. Rooster Oil & Gas acquired the lease in 2007 in consideration of assuming a portion of the plugging and abandonment liability. It subsequently drilled and completed, with partners, two wells, the #A-3 and the #6, in the Tex W and the Cib Carst formations, respectively.
